If i was a director my film would be like these. Indoor shooting, B/N, romantic and fantastic stories. Max Ophuls, Jean Cocteau, Powell & Pressburger, some Blasetti, some Ken Russell, a touch of Tim Burton and Guillermo Del Toro, no horror, only wild romanticism… and it will be narrated like Babenco’s Kiss of the spider woman…
