Top 100 films of the Nineties

These are my personal top 100 films of the 1990’s. #100 and 101 are a tie. My number two is actually 3 films submitted as one, so I will rank one and #s 102 and 103 are actually, combined with #2, a single submission. Beyond that, there are a few major blind spots. I have still yet to see Angelopoulos’ ‘Eternity and a Day’, Bela Tarr’s ‘Santantago’, Maddin’s ‘Archangel’, Godard’s ‘Nouvelle Vague’, Kusturica’s ‘Arizona Dream’, Medem’s ‘Vacas’, or a lot of Latin American and African cinema in general from that decade.
