Tsai Ming-liang - RANKED

Really loved this man’s films, for the most part. What a true delight seeing Vive L’amour for the first time, or watching Lee Kang-sheng switch the clocks, or watching the denizens of the theater move about constantly in Goodbye, Dragon Inn, or hearing that fantastic, evocative score in Rebels of the Neon God. It took me a little while to GET what his films were really about, I think, but, once I did, I was opened up to a very cool, often strange, world that was usually endlessly fascinating.
