A bit of the old in-out in-out? Wink wink, nudge nudge. What distinguishes this sexploitation romp is the presence of Gabrielle Drake, who is notable for not only being the sister of the amazing singer-songwriter Nick Drake, but also one of the stars of the sexy UFO TV series. These British films have a way of being unintendedly hilarious.
Four foreign exchange workers ("au pair girls") arrive in England to live with and work with British families in this delightful British sex comedy. Charmingly dated, AU PAIR GIRLS oozes 1970s cheesiness, but it works. A sly erotic comedy meant as England's answer to the wave of erotic drama coming out of Europe, the film never delves into outright pornography through its use of broad slapstick and winking humor.
Sexploitation movie where you get to see every single leading actress in the movie undressed. Since it was filmed during the swinging '70s the girls don't seem to mind that much and the film is full of playful dialogue and charm. A terrible title song is repeated too many times and the film has the same dreadful type of humor that we find in American college comedies but the girls are so cute I have to give 2 stars.
