Our take

This cool, character-driven comedy from American indie giant Jim Jarmusch is founded on one of the most unusual combinations of actors in cinema: Roberto Benigni, John Lurie & Tom Waits. An offbeat and monochromatic celebration of the unexpected friendships born in (and out of) a New Orleans prison.
