At first masquerading as being in line with leftist politics, the film slowly reveals itself to be a right-wing, anti-immigration, pro-cop vigilante film with an unquenchable bloodlust against Latinos. The turning point where it became a laugh riot for me was when the cartel bombs the police station terrorist style & an ashy George Lopez blurts out, "The Mexicans! They blew us up!" For a good laugh, give this a look.
Starts with some rhetoric of liberation politics but ends up with blue lives matter nativism. The makers of this are so confused it was ultimately fucking hilarious. The idiocy of the main character is something to behold. He wants to uphold his brothers revolutionary writings on Revolution; by being a blood and soil type of person, the only thing he understands is whoever the last authority figure was.
