Our take

Michelangelo Antonioni joined forces with six directors—including Fellini—for this amorous anthology film. Made while neorealism was on the wane, but before his ascension to cinema’s Valhalla with his modernist masterpieces, Love in the City is a fascinating testament to a master’s evolving style.
