William Klein takes a modern look at Handel’s epic oratorio “Messiah” to craft a kinetic musical collage on ritual at the turn of the new millennium. With a tone at once awe-inspiring and humorous, solemn and profane, Klein moves between vastly different places to reflect on the present day.
