Our take

Beginning as what seems to be a social docudrama, The Wild Ones soon shifts into a dazzling, disquieting and eventually mythical fable: one where the darkness and wildness of nature takes over. This impressionistic debut feature with non-professional actors is a striking visual and sonic experience.
