Our take

Depicting the morally questionable nature of war in an intimate way, Joel Schumacher’s Tigerland stars Colin Farrell in his first lead performance. Shot over only 28 days, and inspired by co-writer Ross Klavan’s real-life experiences in Vietnam, the film is a viscerally authentic ensemble piece.
