Oil That Is, Black Gold, Texas Tea

Hard not to think of Oil these days and the nasty stain it is leaving on the Gulf of Mexico and its surrounding beaches and wetlands. While Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs penned The Ballad of Jed Clampett, Steve Forbert also sang of the allure of this black gold in The Oil Song. It is a bubbling crude that has dogged us for years.
