J.J. 'Jake' Gittes

Supporting cast is doing fine, but the main character, Ray Stevenson, is absolutely a miscast. Actually he ruins it: no charisma. The movie: nothing new. Bad script, everything is predictable in all details. Same procedure as always, nothing interesting, nothing exicting. A bore.

The rare true crime story that is fully worthy of its own movie. It has kickass style, an awesome ensemble cast, and Ray Stevenson completely owns in the lead role.

It's no Godfather but this real life mob drama is actually quite good. Ray Stevenson is excellent as main character, Danny Green, the tougher than nails Irishman that everyone wants to kill.
