Our take

One A.M. strips comedy down to its bare essentials leaving the king of silent comedy to give us all a one man show. Swapping his famous Tramp figure for that of a drunken aristocrat, Charlie Chaplin’s balletic grace and inventive use of sets produces pure and unrivalled slapstick gold.
