Our take

Psychic disturbances abound beneath the seemingly benign Danish landscapes in this creepily atmospheric pregnancy horror from Ali Abbasi. With nightmarish and hallucinatory visuals, Shelley serves a potent brew of the domestic and supernatural, laced with a biting critique of migrant exploitation.
