A child’s-eye adventure in the vein of his classic The White Balloon, Jafar Panahi’s meta film playfully unravels its own neorealist premise. Endearingly delightful to follow, the journey of a little girl through Tehran’s sea of people and traffic is subtly grounded in its sociopolitical realities.
