Jerry Lewis

One of the most iconic performers of the 20th century; a man who defined both television and cinema for decades, his comic influence still rippling through our culture; an utterly professional artist; incredible improviser; and without a double one of the great directors in the art of cinema, Jerry Lewis has left us at the age of 91. We will turn for solace, as we so often do in tough or sad times, to the tolerant, elastic splendor of Jerry's comedies. But which one? We are grateful there are so, so many from which to choose.
