“I was born and grew up in Tokyo. I am from a middle-class family, so I don't really remember any kind of hardship. I enjoyed manga and anime as a kid, so when I was in the third grade at elementary school, around ten years old, I saw the theatrical version of Mobile Suit Gundam and loved that. After that, it was all about Gundam and building model kits.”
