Tijdens de COVID-19-pandemie opent de beroemde Zuid-Afrikaanse kunstenaar William Kentridge de deuren van zijn studio in Johannesburg om zijn creatieve proces bloot te leggen. Door middel van animatie, collage, performance en gesprekken met dubbelgangers reflecteert Kentridge op cultuur, geschiedenis en politiek geheugen.
