When Leo discovers his girlfriend Louise is pregnant, he gradually loses sense of reality and, unable to cope with the pressure, plunges into a spiral of violence. At the same time, his friend Lenny, an introverted cinephile, falls in love with a young saleswoman but does not know how to tell her…

A reunion of sorts between Nicolas Winding Refn and several of his actors from the previous Pusher, most notably Mads Mikkelsen, the raging crime thriller Bleeder is NWR in his element: pitch-dark in tone, exploding in spurts of furious violence, and all accompanied by one killer soundtrack.
