One hot summer morning, a bus is hijacked. In the carnage only three people survive: the driver, Makoto, a school girl, Kozue, and her brother, Naoki. Two years later, as they struggle to re-engage with life, Makoto buys an old bus and invites Kozue, Naoki, and their cousin, Akihiko, on a road trip.
