This show is ruthless. Angus Deayton, the first permanent host, was basically hounded off the show after he had a scandal. This show has the dubious distinction of giving Boris Johnson his start. I've watched most seasons of the show. It's now in its 62nd season, and the main appeal for me is that it's not our stupid politicians they're talking about. Which is why I skipped the Trump years.
