It shouldn't have worked. It really should have had a really disappointing ending. Nolan shouldn't be as talented a filmmaker as he is. But good god! It did. It didn't. He is. One of those movies that I saw before it exploded in popularity and I had to be snooty and ignore it for a while.
An original movie that brought us the talent of Mr. Christopher Nolan. Although not everyone got the technique of going backwards we must commend the filmmaker, because the technique does work as a great storytelling tool that i myself totally appreciated. (PS could any of you picture Brad Pitt as Leonard Shelby and what would his casting have done for the film both in the box office and in the long run.)
