Irrfan is extraordinary. The fact that the scriptwriters did detailed research for the subject is praiseworthy - sort of a first in the Indian mainstream. But my overall impression is lukewarm. It often slips into easy cliches, most of all in its choice of aesthetics.
I saw this film at a local theater on a whim. I "became a fan" because of how absolutely fun this movie was however this is by no means a well made film. The choice of music was absolutely hysterical and the story slowly drifted into the unmotivated and absurd realm. I cannot quite describe what this film is like, it has to be seen to be believed. Its completely crazy, silly and unintentionally funny. Loved it.
