We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team in ​Kuala Lumpur​ to assist with social media management and coordination of marketing activities including both digital and on-ground activations, focusing on both awareness and customer acquisition. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to fuel growth in the region in collaboration with global counterparts.
  • Manage MUBI’s organic social media presence in Malaysia across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, helping to adapt the brand identity and social voice of MUBI for the local market in Southeast Asia
  • Assist with execution of promotions and marketing campaigns aimed to maximize subscriber acquisition and increase brand exposure
  • Support local programming initiatives through designated campaigns aimed to promote and elevate MUBI’s curation and highlight titles
  • Coordinate asset delivery and organization across various partner relationships
  • Develop creative strategies and ideas for connecting with target audience segments
  • Analyze and evaluate activities to determine impact, applying actionable insights to continuously improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness

  • Passionate about movies, ideally including Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian and Malaysian content
  • Fast-learner who is eager to dive into tasks and thrives in a fast-paced culture
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Creative-thinker willing to look beyond easy answers to find the best solution to any problem
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in an unstructured environment
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • 1-3 years of related marketing experience
  • Well-versed in social media and experience managing social media for a brand
  • Stays up-to-date on trends in the digital/media landscape
  • Ability to determine KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly
  • Knowledge of Photoshop is ideal
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
