Die Ahnfrau is a drama by Franz Grillparzer published in 1817. The author used a South Bohemian legend under the title Pramáti (The Ancestress) as a model, which refers to Borotín Castle in Okres Tábor (South Bohemia). Raben made this Oratorio after Franz Grillparzer in 1971.
