TV. Usually, the use of fiction in a short film is a mechanism that is limited to its own joke or to suspensions with metaphysical will, rarely are objects organically adequated to its footage. This is one of those rare examples, with an admirable use of framing and sound.
I am irritated by the calculation and intention of sound (and the mise-en-scène in the scene where the mother goes to see the teacher), and after having invested in the character I don't know if I can like the calculated and accommodating ending. But the film does evoke a sense of time and place in certain scenes, especially the one in which she eats the soup by herself.
