Our take

Made in quick response to the military clampdown that plagued Poland in December 1981, this startling allegory stands among Jerzy Skolimowski’s greatest works. A tale of political displacement starring Jeremy Irons, Moonlighting captures the surreality of inadvertent exile under grey London skies.
