I do not want to turn the Notebook into a news-heavy magazine, but when an auteur like Pedro Almodovar announces his new film, we sit up and take notice. Uncannily in tune with our link of the day posted below, Variety quotes the director describing the film, called Los abrazos rotos, as “four-way tale of amour fou, shot in the style of ’50s American film noir at its most hard-boiled.” If that doesn’t sound amazing, what does?
