In a small village, a girl with a pejorative name to ward off the evil eye, “Nakakalepo”, is 18 years old, the first born of a Kwanhama couple. Out of the knowledge of her parents, Nakakalepo has a thriving romance with Massala, a 21-year-old peasant boy of Bakongo descent.
