Rebeca, a 12-year-old daughter of separated parents, moves with her mother to the coastal neighborhood of Piratininga. There she finds herself caught up in a wave of robberies. Looking over the wall at the street, Rebeca sees Mika, a girl her age who defies the gender norms imposed by her family.
