Based on historical documents and interviews with lesbian who lived and fought in the 1970s and 1980s, during the military dictatorship, we are guided to a central episode in the formation of the Brazilian lesbian movement, the “Ferro’s Bar Uprising”, known as the “Brazilian Stonewall”.
