The only film by Yugoslavian-Brazilian journalist Vladimir Herzog, this cinéma verité short subject is the result of a film course by Swedish documentary filmmaker Sucksdorf in Brazil, in 1962. A report about the so-called “Marimbás”, who aren’t exactly fishermen, even though they live of the sea.
