The most entertaining and funnest B.M. thus far. This one is a EXACT refection of our society back upon us, and the image a glaring one. (Would of gave it 4stars if it wasn't for the last 12-15 mins that it kicks into overdrive and becomes cringeworthy and retardedly over the top in tone)
I like how they managed to brings up the topic of ass-kissing culture and how people put so much effort into their social media in order to build their own image. It seems like a pretty realistic picture of the society right now.
Although Black Mirror creates worlds and 'futures' . It feels a little close to real life and is one of the things I despise most about current society; wherever you go, you see people crossing roads, walking through the street, in their cars, eyes glued to their phone like it is some visual aid. But then again, I believe the Internet is great because it can create a new world, and allow us to escape this world.
The essence of what this show is all about: completely plausible sci-fi and technology, satirical, darkly humorous at times, dramatic, with room for character development and even redemption of some sorts. The writing and cinematography were excellent and Bryce Dallas Howard was a perfect cast in this role. This truly is "The Twilight Zone" of the 21st century. Let's dive into the rest of the season!
This episode was more like a 4.6 imho. Bryce Dallas Howard goes full crazy and it mostly works. The script is, as always, smart (nice job, Rashida!) and the world doesn't feel that far off. Love this show!
FUCKING TERRIFYING! But I didnt enjoyed the ending very much, I would prefer if there was more people interacting. I dont know, it seemed like a happy ending for Black Mirror, didnt it? Just for saying: I LOVE Joe Wright and I just cant stand Bryce Dallas.
