Every year in mid October the Bolivian community in Buenos Aires celebrates its most important Patronal festivity: the party of Nuestra Señora de Copacabana.

Moving away from the comedy genre, Martín Rejtman’s foray into documentary records the colorful Bolivian folkloric dances performed for the annual Virgin of Copacabana festival. With minimal interference, Rejtman’s ethnographic lens focuses on the minutest of details, capturing the rhythms of life.
