Rather missing the 1960s train of easy everything, this falls between the cracks of thriller (pallid) and titilation (on serious ration) and results in a confused and derivative squib. Beyond the diversion of the title sequence, there's little here to engage let alone arouse.
1 1/2 stars. Outside of a snaggle-toothed, yet cute Susan George I'm not sure why I ignored every instinct that screamed in my ear to turn it off about 10 minutes in. Horribly dated and even more poorly told, Die Screaming, Marianne was just an exercise in awfulness. I feel like imploring you to ignore it is a waste because I'm spending time I can use doing anything else talking about it.
