For his only English-language film, and his first film in colour, Truffaut adapts a classic of American dystopian science fiction: Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451. An intriguing, underrated depiction of the terror of totalitarianism, starring Oskar Werner & Julie Christie, and shot by Nicolas Roeg.
