Present-day Bosnia-Herzegovina is a country still reeling from the civil war in the early 90s. In order to cope, many towns have transformed themselves into unique tourist destinations that bring together history, religion, politics and folklore.

Bosnian-Canadian director Igor Drljaca questions the ideological tourism of his Balkan birth country in this acute documentary. Observing landmarks in a nation searching for its postwar identity, the film tells a shockingly familiar tale of how cultural narratives are perpetuated and commodified.
