During a 24 hour leave from prison, Johnny is determined to accomplish two things: to take revenge and to commit suicide. He hires a taxi for the day and gradually he and the driver, Michel, become friendly. Johnny can’t perform either of his tasks and tries to talk Michel into doing them for him.
