After the events of Tal Al Zaatar in Lebanon in 1976, more than 300 Palestinian children were orphaned and without family support, which prompted the Palestinian Women’s Union to establish the “Children of Resilience” house affiliated with the Tal al-Zatar Foundation for the Care of Children.
