Visualmente increible y una tematica inspiradora. La recomiendo especialmente a los padres que quieran dotar a sus hijos de educacion con calidad humana.
Me siento orgulloso de mis amigos de Mantarraya.
It was so woefully low-budget in the opening scenes, I nearly let my undying lust for visual-appeal in a film cheat me out this poignant ode to the sea and to simplicity. Produced by a two-man crew and a cast of non-actors, embracing even the wild egret, this film reinvigorated my longing for the purity of the sea, of (material) poverty, nature, and life the way (I think) God intended it to be.
Certainly the nicest film I've seen this year! Everything about it was lovely. The relationship between Father and Son and how it was portrayed with such subtlety and warmth. The usage of beautiful long landscape scenic shots too, poised the whole film. A short film but what those 73 minutes did was lovely.
Beautiful cinematic realism stripped down to the most basic elements. I loved the positive relationship between the father and son, and the larger meditation on life in the Caribbean. Very few parts of the film feel scripted, only adding to its authenticity.
