Standard. Slick. Should've cooked a bit longer, because these detective films come best hardboiled. Still a firm effort. I'd greenlight Allen Hughes to keep on going solo, because I liked this.

The acting was solid but wasted on a by the numbers story that doesn't have anything new to say. Looks good but it's pretty empty.
