Go on Hollywood, keep patting yourselves on the back for Wonder Woman. Japanese cinema has been producing strong women in central roles since forever. And these women don't have special powers and they aren't dressed in spandex. They are real people with real problems, living in the real world. Miyazawa and Sugisaki are just wonderful in this.
Her Love Boils Bathwater reminds me why I'm into the j-cinemas. Their dialogue and expressions are louder than any background music that comes thru. Silence and detail gestures brings more flavour into the story.
