Our take

Kathryn Bigelow has wowed audiences with her interpretation of classic genres and the now-cult Point Break does just that, by subverting both action film and surfer buddy movie. A look at male relationships through a woman’s gaze, with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze delivering iconic performances.
