Our take

Here’s where it all started for Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, A Bigger Splash ) The Italian director’s experimental debut film is a surreal faux-documentary on a mysterious murder. It stars the one-and-only Tilda Swinton, who would become one of the auteur’s frequent collaborators.
