The following are films which involve the part of the human subconscious known as the “Id”. Here the desires of humanity are at the lowest possible level, the most primal level. The Id is completely selfish. The Id has no regard for others. The actions and desires of the id are self-serving and lacking of any kind of empathy or compassion. These movies allow us to view and study the Id from a safe distance in order to understand this repressed part of all of us. It’s a scary thought, but things left unexamined can ultimately be disastrous.
