Our take

This notoriously dangerous production was shot guerilla-style (an early example of HD video feature filmmaking!) on the cut-throat Colombian streets. Barbet Schroeder’s raw and visceral Spanish-language debut takes a burning look at drug trade warfare through a surprising story of impossible love.
