The screenplay and supporting cast seem like a lazy version of what we expect in a Hawks film, no where near as charming or exciting as Rio Bravo or El Dorado, but there's enough here to make it decent enough to watch.
Hawks was incapable of making a truly bad film. This one is by the numbers through and through, and some of the supporting cast just isnt very good. Otherwise, this had potential to be a more memorable film than it is. O'Neill was a full on babe, so theres plenty of eye candy throughout to keep you interested when the plot and performances fail to. Decent 3 star Western.
