Our take

Populated with unexpected twists and a host of colorful characters, Ray’s adaptation of his eponymous mystery novel is a thrilling ride. As the popular detective Feluda, Soumitra Chatterjee actually models his performance on Ray’s own body language, balancing joviality with striking sternness.
