Matthew Martens's rating of the film Won't You Be My Neighbor?

What makes this otherwise unexceptional film so extraordinary is its subject--a strange, almost inhumanly humane empath of a man whose calling was to help children--and the adults they both depend on and become--to realize their own extraordinariness, and to work through their negative feelings in the same way they should celebrate positive ones--via reciprocal relationships based in kindness, trust, and good grief.
