Take Matt Parks list but replace his ‘90s pick and replace it with Scampi’s pick. Of course, I haven’t seen Sweet and Lowdown, but at least it’s gone from Saved to Very Long Wait.

60s – What’s up Tiger Lily
70s – Annie Hall
80s – Hannah and Her Sisters
90s – Husbands and Wives
20s – Match Point

80s is probably the hardest to pick – Hannah, Crimes and Misdemeanors or Broadway Danny Rose. Love them all.

@matt cuffe: Woody Allen never time traveled to make Match Point!

70s: Manhattan (Both this and Annie Hall are amony my all-time favorites, but I’m giving Manhattan the edge, barely!)
80s: Hannah and Her Sisters
90s: Husbands and Wives
00s: Vicky Cristina Barcelona
10s: Midnight in Paris (though, I agree, too soon to tell, since we’ll probably get one Woody film every year)

@ David Semblance – Thanks for remembering Another Woman, a title which is usually unfairly forgotten and it’s one of Woody’s best.

I agree with Jonas’ list except switch out Match Point for Vicki Christina.

1960s – Take the Money and Run
1970s – Manhattan
1980s – Crimes and Misdemenors
1990s – Sweet and Lowdown (Husbands and Wives is a close 2nd)
2000s – Vicky Christina Barcelona
2010s – Midnight in Paris

Now how about the worst of each decade?

1960s – n/a (haven’t seen What’s Up, Tiger Lily?
1970s – Interiors
1980s – September
1990s – Alice (Mighty Aphrodite is a close 2nd)
2000s – Scoop
2010s – You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (possibly Woody’s worst movie)

Drew.

The “Worst” but really I’m a sucker for even his weaker films…

1960s – What’s Up, Tiger Lily? (didn’t find it that funny)
1970s – Bananas (still so good)
1980s – September (amazing third act)
1990s – Celebrity (messy but still some great moments)
2000s – Small Time Crooks (the only film of his that made me groan)
2010s – You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (like it more than most do)

Best

1960s – What’s Up Tiger Lily
1970s – Annie Hall
1980s – Radio Days (Though Zelig comes close)
1990s – Everyone Says I Love You
2000s – Match Point
2010s – Midnight in Paris

Worst

1960s – None. Liked them both.
1970s – Interiors (Though it’s not really all that bad)
1980s – Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy)
1990s – Celebrity (Brilliant in places, but Branaugh kills it)
2000s – Anything Else
2010s – You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (That narrator has to go)
